Pricing

Website and graphic design clients have a range of needs and a range of budgets. I work with each client up front to establish a fixed cost for their project so that there are no surprises when the bill comes due. For websites, 50% of the fee is due with the submission of the new client questionnaire, with the remainder due upon completion. Graphic design projects are more varied, and payment terms will be agreed upon at the start of the project. I accept checks and PayPal.

  1. Basic, professional websitedown arrow
    For a custom website with up to 4 pages of static/fixed information, my fee is $600; additional pages can be added for $40 each. The final product is a set of HTML and associated files delivered to you.
  2. Basic website wtih a few moving partsdown arrow
    The base fee for this option is also $600, with add-ons priced by complexity. Dropdown menus and accordion-style lists (like those used on this page) can be as little as $30, depending on their specifics. Short online forms such as "Contact Us" can be added for $75; larger and more complex forms are priced individually.
  3. Website installationdown arrow
    Many clients prefer to have me get their finished website live online at their hosting company. For the websites described above, installation is $75.
  4. Email setup with Google Appsdown arrow
    Many hosting companies offer free email accounts to go with a domain name (joe@joeschmoe.com). For clients who want to use their new email address, but prefer a gmail-type interface, I can set up Google Apps email for $75.
  5. Website maintenance, updates & refreshersdown arrow
    Oftentimes you need a quick update to your website – changing dates or prices, adding a map, etc. For these types of services my fee is $75/hour (no minimum, no "rounding up").
  6. Joomla & Wordpressdown arrow
    Joomla and Wordpress sites cover a wide range from "out-of-the-box" templates to extensive customization. Contact me for a price quote for these types of projects.
  7. Graphic Designdown arrow
    Graphic design projects also span a wide range, and prices are provided for each project specifications. Clipart style graphics can be as low as $30 each; glossy custom icons are approximately $110 each.
